In order to be a better olympic lifter, you need practice.  Weightlifting is all about timing and technique.  If you want to see your numbers go up, become more comfortable moving around your barbell, meaning, dropping under the weight.  As for Annie, unbroken double unders will lead to a huge PR, make that your first goal!
