Tip of the Day
The split jerk is all about your foot work.  Proper foot positioning can seriously increase your confidence in this movement.  The best way to learn, is to do a rep, hold it, and examine your placement with either no weight or a very light weight.  One thing to be aware of is that your feet should land somewhat wide, like train tracks, not inline like a tight rope.
