Tip of the Day
We utilize a full KB swing with arms locked out overhead, the American swing, because we believe in full range of motion about a joint.  However, the purpose of the KB swing is to develop the posterior chain, glutes, hamstrings, and low back.  So when performing your swings today, remember that it is the firing of the posterior chain that moves the KB and gives it the speed to end up overhead, not a pull of the arms.
