Tip of the Day
The DB push press is going to have a few limiting factors.  The first one will be cleaning the DB's to your shoulders.  Most people take the DB's for granted and try to just curl them up.  If you want to get the max you can, you are going to have to have the same respect for the DB's that you do the bar.  Be explosive through the hips and jump them up to your shoulders.  The next limiting factor is going to be your shoulder stability.  Because the bar is one solid unit, it doesn't require the unilateral stability that the DB's are going to throw at you.  Make sure your shoulder blades are set before going overhead and remind yourself of our key shoulder points as you lift.
