Tip of the Day
When done properly, the weighted step up eliminates a lot of lower body weakness.  Make sure you pick a weight that allows you to stand all the way up on one leg before the other foot hits the box.  Also, focus on pulling yourself up on top of the box with the foot on the box, not pushing off the floor.
