A Tip For Today
As you all will learn over the next six weeks, gymnastics is all about shapes.  The stronger those shapes and the better you can maintain them, the more power you can produce and the easier it is to complete the more difficult movements.  You should be able to maintain those shapes on the floor first before you try them on a bar and long before you attempt things on the rings.  We will be working to make everyone stronger in those positions with the ultimate goal of getting everyone a strict pull up and progressing people to get their first strict ring muscle up.
