A Tip For Today
For a lot of people, they go through life, year after year, doing the same routine.  Super motivated for the first three months, drop in motivation due to lack of immediate success, then summer hits and there is a sudden change of schedule and focus, then fall rolls around and the motivation comes back slightly only for the holidays to show up and they take the last three months off from their goals, promising to start again in January.  That was a run on sentence to describe a vicious cycle of frustration.  Please do not confuse my description to only be talking about fitness, it applies to most motivational goals that we set for the beginning of the year.  But what if we changed our perspective?  What if we gave ourselves a FULL year to work toward those goals and make progress?  We live in a world of instant gratification and if we do not completely change our bodies, or lift heavier weights, or make more money, or get a promotion in two weeks then we quit.  Change takes time.  By "takes time" I mean months and years not days and weeks.  For 2019 I would like to challenge all of you to stick to your motivation for a FULL year!  See the bigger picture.
