Snatching!  The one movement that frustrates more people than standing in line at the DMV.  Why is that though?  Well, we live in a world of instant gratification.  With the snatch being the most technical of the Olympic lifts, it requires hours and hours of technique practice.  For the average person that has no aspirations of going to the Olympics as a lifter, they can often think “what’s the point.”  Well, just working on this lift with the bare barbell will increase your speed, power, and kinesthetic awareness. This is important because the better you are at knowing where your body is in space, the better you are as an athlete.  Work on your technique and your patience today.

8 x 1 Snatch EMOM

EMOM’s are a great time to work on technique, timing, and speed.
